You sign up, complete a 24-question intake, then scan your forehead and both cheeks with the BASUP Skin Scanner. The BASUP 288 algorithm, plus expert review, classifies your skin across 5 axes and formulates your essence, serum, and ampoule booster — re-derived from a fresh scan every 28 days.

The BASUP Skin Scanner, a USB skin microscope on a stand (up to 1600x). It's $10, and we take $10 off your first Kit. Connects by USB to a Mac or Windows computer, an iPad or other tablet, or an Android phone. Not compatible with iPhone.

Your skin isn't the same in every season — and neither is a one-time formula. Every 28 days, BASUP re-scans your skin and adjusts your essence, serum, and ampoule to match what's actually happening now, not what a quiz said three months ago.

The subscription kit is $65/month (essence, night serum, and ampoule booster). Shipping is calculated at checkout from your delivery address and the weight of your order.

Yes. From Subscription in your account you can skip a shipment (one cycle at a time) or pause for up to 3 months in a row. Make any change, including changing the items in your upcoming shipment, at least 7 days before your billing date, because we begin preparing your Kit ahead of it; a later change applies to the following cycle. A paused subscription resumes automatically unless you cancel.

Cancel anytime from your account — no fee, no minimum commitment. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle, with no partial refund for a cycle already in progress. If a Kit for that cycle has already been made or shipped, it will still be delivered. Canceling also deletes your skin scan data immediately. Most personalized skincare stops at a one-time questionnaire. BASUP starts with a questionnaire, then adds an actual microscope scan of your skin — and repeats that measurement every 28 days, so your formula evolves as your skin does.

BASUP is a cosmetics-based skin analysis and personalization service, not a medical diagnostic or treatment. It's designed to help formulate skincare that fits your skin's current condition, using cosmetic-grade ingredients and claims.

Shipping is calculated at checkout from your delivery address and the weight of your order, and shown before you pay. For a subscription, shipping is charged with each monthly shipment. We ship to all 50 U.S. states and Washington, DC. Kits ship within 3–5 business days of billing. Delivery typically takes 3–7 business days after shipping.

Stop using the product. If the reaction is severe, talk to a doctor. Then email info@basup.us within 30 days of delivery with your order number, a short description of what happened, and photos. We'll review your skin data and send you one free reformulated Kit (one per customer). Because every Kit is made for you, we can't refund opened Kits for a change of mind, and after the free reformulation we can't refund that Kit. You can cancel your subscription anytime.

Unopened Kit products can be returned within 14 days. Opened or used Kit products generally can't be returned for hygiene reasons, but damaged, defective, or incorrect items are replaced or refunded at no cost within 14 days of delivery. If your skin has a problem with your Kit, you get one free reformulation within 30 days of delivery (see below); after that, we can't refund that Kit. You pay return shipping unless the item arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect, in which case we cover it. Refunds go to your original payment method within 5–10 business days after we receive your return. See Shipping, Returns & Cancellation in the footer for details.

BASUP is manufactured by SKINLAB KOREA, an ISO 22716 (Cosmetics GMP), ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 certified facility that has shipped to Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Japan, and the US (including OEM partners like SpaLife and Swissco) since 2017.
